Milan Senior Citizens Center

Director: Jenny Dodson

The Milan – Gibson County Senior Citizens Association, INC. was established in April of 1975.  July 1, 1980, the City of Milan resolved to house the Senior Citizens Center in a portion of the Municipal Building.  December 14, 1999 the Mayor and Aldermen agreed to Resolution 99-3 making the Senior Citizens Center a Municipality of the City of Milan.  February 2009 the name was changed from Milan – Gibson County Senior Citizens Center to City of Milan Senior Citizens Center, INC.

The City of Milan Senior Citizens Center is a place for Senior Citizens aged 60 and over to come for recreation, physical fitness, educational programming, commodities, health screenings, and more! We offer home delivered meals to the homebound and sell Ensure Plus® at a lower price than retail stores. We also conduct telephone reassurance.

We are open to the public and invite each of you to come by and visit! Our mission is to be responsive to the needs of the elderly by providing supportive resources and services that help meet physical, social, emotional, and recreational needs. We always welcome participants with a warm friendly smile so please come by and see us!
