An event that began in the year 2000, the No-Till Field Day is held the fourth Thursday of July, every other year at the University of Tennessee Agricultural Experiment Station located in Milan. Thousands of farmers and agribusiness representatives from across the country and around the world attend this event. Associated activities include a fashion show, golf, and other community activities.
The 9th Annual Milan Dawg Daze will be held on Saturday, August 25, 2018 and is a day full of entertaining activities for you and your Milan community. We will have a Chalk Art Show, Pancake Breakfast, Antique Car Show and much more so be sure to come out for this wonderful, fun-filled day!
The oldest county fair in the south, is held in August each year in neighboring Trenton. The Gibson County Fair Association is open to ALL residents of Gibson County! They meet the first Monday of every month in the Martha Taylor Building at the Fairgrounds.
Held the third Saturday of October with approximately 100 traditional folk artist covering the grounds of the West Tennessee Agricultural Museum. The artisans demonstrate skills in traditional crafts such as broom and soap making, quilting, and doll making. Local groups fill the air with music throughout the day. Fall Folklore Days is held annually on the 3rd week of October in conjunction with the Fall Folklore Jamboree put on by the West Tennessee Agricultural Museum.

Located on Thompson Creek approximately 5.5 miles northwest of Milan. The Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency manages the recreational lake that provides boating, fishing, and other activities along with flood control. The 600 acre lake project opened for fishing April 1, 2003.
